Dry Shippers

MVE Vapor Shipper containers are designed for the safe transportation of biological samples at cryogenic (-150°C) or colder. Fabricated from durable, lightweight aluminum, they employ a hydro-phobic absorbent that contains the liquid nitrogen for "spill-free" shipping. Protective shipping cartons are available for most models, which gives the shipment a "non-hazardous" classification.

The unique cryo-block inserts enable the user to optimize hold time and capacity. Available in three sizes 1, 1.5, and 2 inches each pair of blocks provides a specific hold time between 2 and 8 days.

MVE's IATA Dewar has been independently tested and approved with the accessories listed below to meet current UN and IATA regulations concerning the transportation of potentially infectious substances. Test Data and Reports available per request.

The ShipsLog and Datalogger vapor shippers will keep an accurate and downloadable temperature history of samples over several days. They provide traceability for temperature of the samples and can give alarms at set points during the transit period.


The ShipsLog can record sample temperatures and make them available in soft or hard copy, has alarm trip-points which can be set, has visual LED warnings, and is user programmable.


The Datalogger can record and store up to 60,000 data points, displays current temperature and alarm status, has a visual alarm indicator and two alarm settings, is water and dust resistant, has easy-to-use-software, and is CE certified.
